Application of MOSfet in automotive electronic system
Power supply part
Battery: The main power supply of the automotive electronic system, providing a stable DC voltage for the entire system.
Alternator: When the engine is running, the generator charges the battery and supplies power to other electronic devices other than the starter.
Starting system
Battery: Provides the starting current for the starter.
Starter Motor: controlled by MOS tube, the electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy to drive the engine to start.
MOS : Between the starting relay and the starter, used to control the starter on and off.
Charging system
Generator: The generated alternating current is converted into direct current through the rectifier to charge the battery, and the charging current is controlled by the MOS tube.
MOS : between the generator and the battery, used to control the size of the charging current, to protect the battery from overcharge damage.
Lighting system
Headlights, Taillights, etc. : MOS tubes control light brightness and switching status to improve energy efficiency and light stability.
MOS : In the lighting system circuit, used to control the current and switch of each lamp.
Electronic stabilization system
ABS (Anti-lock braking System), ESP (Electronic Stability Program), etc. : These systems contain control modules to achieve precise control of components such as braking system, engine and wheels through MOS tubes.
MOS : Inside the electronic stability system control module, used to drive actuators or sensors.
Other electronic devices
Air conditioning systems, sound systems, navigation systems, etc. : These devices are connected to the central control unit through the automotive electronic bus (such as the CAN bus), and MOS tubes are used in the bus interface or inside the device for data transmission and power management.
MOS : On the automotive electronic bus interface or the internal circuit board of the device, used for signal amplification, switch control and other functions.
